Built in the mid 1800's, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, in Lourdes, France, was built on top of the rock above the Grotto, along the Gave de Pau river.

Seeking blessings and emotional rewards greater than the financial rewards of his mechanical engineering career, Everet made the decision to resign from his full-time job in October 2013 to pursue art as a freelance fine art photographer.
