The colors of autumn in New York can be brilliant. This beautiful scene captures one of those views in a small, community park. The first snowflakes of the year were beginning to fall, but the air was still and the colors vivid.

This piece would be stunning on metal, or acrylic, but for a more painterly feel, a Somerset Velvet or other fine art paper would be the right choice.

Seeking blessings and emotional rewards greater than the financial rewards of his mechanical engineering career, Everet made the decision to resign from his full-time job in October 2013 to pursue art as a freelance fine art photographer.
