Description
The Clark's Grebe is a western/pacific water bird with striking red/orange eyes and a long bright bill. This grebe is the first Clark's Grebe ever recorded in New York State. I took this photo on a sunny afternoon, as the grebe was fishing along the port of Lake Ontario, Oswego, NY. The colors of the water were beautiful and provided a wonderful backdrop to compliment the the bird. To accent the most depth, contrast and detail, consider a metal or acrylic print. If you want a framed, paper print, Metallic or Premium Glossy Photo Paper should be considered.

Amazing capture! That looks like a big fish (do you know what kind?) staring down its captor's throat here! So does the bird really manage to win the battle and gulp that whole thing okay? Does the fish put up a good fight, if eaten does the unlucky prey get swallowed wriggling all the way down as well?!
Everet Regal replied:
Thank you, Kyle! I don't know what kind of fish this was, but I've watched many water fowl, swallow fish that you'd swear couldn't possibly make it down their throat.
