Lake Neatahwanta, "lake that hides from the river" was used by the Iroquois people for fishing and hunting.

Seeking blessings and emotional rewards greater than the financial rewards of his mechanical engineering career, Everet made the decision to resign from his full-time job in October 2013 to pursue art as a freelance fine art photographer.
