Not too many moments are as exciting as when you've been staring through your viewfinder for an hour and suddenly the Snowy Owl decides to dive from the perch and fly directly at you! Wow! What an adrenaline rush! This raptor was not baited or called in. Shooting from my Jeep, I was in the right place at the right time and was rewarded with a wonderful experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to see Snowy Owls, here in NY. They are candy to my eyes and a gift to my soul.
Consider a metal or acrylic print for depth and contrast, or go with a fine art paper like Sommerset Velvet or canvas for a more painterly, textured look. I have this printed on metal, at 24 x 16 and it's absolutely stunning!
